Concert Choir
Concert Choir welcomes students in grades 5-12 who desire to learn to glorify God with their voices! No previous singing experience is required.
Concert Choir meets once a week for 75 minutes, with extended rehearsals toward the end of the semester. Students should expect daily homework assignments consisting of approximately 30 minutes of daily homework on non-class days.
This semester academic instruction will focus on the history of music in the church as well as reviews of basic music theory. Students should plan to set aside regular time at home to practice their parts in preparation for rehearsals.
Music selection is primarily sacred. Students will learn to sing in parts and be prepared to sing in our Fall Cantata.
