It’s the goal of our program to offer a Christ-centered, enjoyable environment for both moms and children. It’s important that as a group, we strive to uphold these values:
Encouragement: We honor the differing approaches that families use in their home education. PEG is designed to enrich, not fully replace, a family’s educational program. We want PEG to be a day of encouragement for both the children in the classroom and the parents, too.
Family Culture: Promoting family culture is important to us at PEG and we do this by selecting classes and curricula that support learning together whenever possible.
Habits of Mind and Heart: We want to build into all students healthy habits of mind and heart. Healthy habits of mind include curiosity, clarity, creativity, reflection, wonderment and flexibility. Healthy habits of heart include perseverance, humility, service, empathy, integrity and self-governance.
Teamwork: The success of PEG depends on each family’s contribution and commitment to supporting the community as a whole, the leadership, and the vision of the co-op. We want to share the workload based on the gifts and talents of each member in a grace-filled and flexible manner.

PEG elementary and middle school programs operate as a cooperative (co-op) with the exception of our middle school history and humanities course which is a paid-for course. It’s important that we share the workload based on the gifts and talents of each member in a grace-filled and flexible manner. Every family in the co-op plays an important role in the success of this learning venture. At the beginning of each school year, parents work with the leadership team to sign up for a fitting role like teaching, helping, and/or other roles to serve the co-op. Many hands make light work, and to prevent anyone else from being overburdened, we expect each role to be filled with a commitment to faithfulness and excellence. We want this group to be a blessing to everyone and a burden to no one.
Any Christian homeschooling family is welcome to send an application to PEG provided:
They have a child in 1st grade or above. We do offer a PreK/Kindergarten program for younger siblings of co-op families.
Parents affirm and live out the Statement of Belief.
The family holds membership in a local church and faithfully attends.
Parents read the Parent and Student Handbook and agree to all policies and rules.
Parents agree to add their talents and expertise to PEG. At least 1 parent must fill a role such as teacher or helper.
Parents agree to the attendance of each registered child during the full morning session. Families may not attend 1 or 2 classes and then leave campus. The afternoon session is optional.
Parents must remain on-site. No drop-offs are allowed for the co-op with the exception of a limited number of middle school students who have older siblings attending our drop-off high school program.
The first 6 weeks of co-op are an evaluation period for grade level placements. Adjustments are not unusual and provide flexibility and customization for the students.

Cost:
Family Fee: Approximately $300/year
This Family Fee covers the building rent and insurance for the entire year. It fluctuates in cost because of variables like the number of families who join. It can be split into two payments (one paid in July, the other in January).
Supply Fee: $20/student
This fee is paid each semester and goes towards the supplies needed by the teachers to facilitate activities in the classroom. It also covers the cost of dissection specimens if needed. This fee is different for each family as it is dependent on the number of children in the family who are participating in the co-op. This fee applies to children in the pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.
Middle School History & Humanities: $300/student for co-op families (drop-off families pay $420/student)
This fee is paid directly to the History & Humanities teacher in four, quarterly payments paid in August/October/January/March. Please see the description for the History & Humanities class under the high school tab.
